Flooring Area Calculator

To estimate the approximate square footage for the materials needed for your flooring project, try to square each area you are going to cover. For example, if you have a large living room with an adjoining dining room and a small alcove, then measure the living room and call it Area A, measure the dining room and call it Area B, and measure the alcove and call it Area C. Triangular areas can be entered in Area F.

Enter the width and length dimensions in feet into the calculator below. If you are measuring in inches, make sure you divide in 12 in order to convert your measurements to feet.
